big thanks to everyone who came to Sharmanka at the start of the year, or the streets of Stirling for record store day or the Spite House show last week; we really appreciate you! 🌹
our physical album was too late for the sharmanka launch party; we were let down by a company who say they make CDs on Washington street (local to the street where we practise); the CDs never showed up and the guy stopped talking to us. We were reduced to feeding the email chain to an LLM slop machine to write our really boring dispute for us; which we eventually won (!) and got the money back.woo hooo
huge thanks to our angel of darkness Spicey Colin who stepped in and helped us to rebuild the CDs from the ground up: hand print/cut/fold, slow burned, fully signed (!), hand labelled by Lily Paine, illustrated lyric book, super shiny stickers. hard to describe how much time and sweet love is compressed in to each one! you should get one, we are very proud, they're cheap and there aren't many left! without Spicey's support we would have fell over.
